The gods are up to no good again. A large conference was called, many showed up, many others deemed it not worth their precious time. The proceedings were long, drawn out and arguments were had. Many plans were drawn up, discussed, thrown out and redone. One plan was finally agreed upon.
A plan that would change the course of a chosen few of their followers.
All the worlds, all the times, beings could feel the pull. The mansion called, beckoned them to a time in paradise, held them within the confines of the island. Here only the mansion ruled, ever changing, ever listening, and all knowing.

Asphodel: Powdered root of asphodel is used in the Draught of Living Death. This plant is traditionally associated with the afterlife and the underworld.

We are living in a world of uncertainty now. Before, the only worries we truly had were whether or not we would pass our examinations or if the marauders were the ones responsible for turning everyone's hair a nice shade of lilac. But times are changing and things are getting darker out in the real world. A growing army is fast approaching; friends and family members are disappearing more often and there are a growing number of events happening that can no longer be explained easily. All done by he who dare calls himself Lord.

Asphodel is a game focused almost entirely on the war of the late 1970s that threw the entire wizarding world into chaos. With darkening themes and realistic events, it won't be for those who are faint at heart and can't bear to sit back and watch our most beloved characters thrown into the lion's den.

Set in 1979 and set to start 08 March

WELCOME

Welcome to Lost City Found, a multifandom RPG set within Stargate's Lost City of Atlantis, deep in the Pegasus Galaxy. From inside this massive, abandoned alien city, an international expedition comprised of Earth's best and brightest seeks out new technology to defend their world, explores new planets, encounters alien civilizations and struggle to staves off the looming threat of the sinister Wraith.

Players are invited to introduce both original and canon characters into the chaotic world of Stargate Atlantis - perhaps as personnel recruited into the Atlantis expedition, perhaps as strangers who stumbled upon the city entirely by accident (intergalactic portals, freak AU mirrors, it's all basically canon by this point) - and join in the fight to save Earth from destruction... give or take a little crack along the way.

We're in the process of moving everything over from GJ, but everything should be done by 12/22!

The year is 1976. Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is playing on muggle radio stations and the VCR has just been released worldwide. Times are changing, and not just in the ordinary world. A dark force governed by an unknown evil has been gathering followers, convinced of pureblood supremacy. People have already begun disappearing. Attacks are becoming more frequent. Alliances are being made in secret.

Hogwarts cannot go on untouched for much longer. Even the students are getting caught in the power struggle- dividing and picking sides of their own.

Its evident that something needs to be done soon or the wizarding population will surely dwindle. But how do we know who's corrupt when the toxin is just as secret as the antidote?

Are you aware of a game called Arpeggio located here on greatestjournal? I imagine you are, what with the adverts being posted every week. There are a few things you need to know:

Arpeggio is run by a woman named Chelsie. Chelsie has recently decided to lash out and send degrading e-mails to the majority of the people she formally played with, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Chelsie is also known for having sent threatening e-mails to her members of a previous game when plots did not go exactly as she wanted them to.

From one player to another, I recommend those interested in this game stop and think about what you might be getting yourself involved in. Chelsie is looking for an outlet for her anger, and I can only imagine what you as members will go through.

In February 2008, a viral cure for cancer was discovered. Six short weeks after testing the vaccine on human patients, things started to go wrong. It was discovered too late that the virus had mutated without warning. Two months after the virus was discovered, it made the jump from direct physical contact to airborne transmission. The jump occurred before the government could catch it and Manhattan became ground zero for the biggest disaster to hit mankind, even outshining the Black Plague. Ninety-nine percent of the population was infected, 90% of all those coming into contact with the virus immediately bled out and died. The other nine percent, the Anomalies, reacted differently. The developed cannibalistic tendencies, extreme violence and aggression, and an inability to go out into the light. As more and more became infected and survived, they began feeding on the remaining one percent of the population, the small amount of those who were immune to either strand of the virus.

Now, in the year 2012, the human race is almost extinct and only a sparse few remain.

It is 1997, and after the death of Dumbledore, Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy were from then on, on the run. The Prophet alarmed the Wizarding world with tales of deceit between Severus Snape and Albus Dumbledore, how he mistakenly trusted the Potions teacher, and how he and the Malfoy heir concocted a scheme to finally take Dumbledore down for good, for You-Know-Who. The Quibbler prints a different story, of how Malfoy was innocently swept up in the crossfire. As of now not even Harry Potter knows of what could have happened that night, only that people were lost. He, too, is as confused as the Wizarding World itself.

As the summer went on, the world recieved word about the fact that Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour put a new decree in effect of August 30, 1997, that all students who are to finish Hogwarts of graduating years 1998 and lower, were to return to it, where they would be safe, because the war could not reach them for another time there. Rufus is wrong, like he most often is, the students of Hogwarts couldn't be in more danger.
